Best iPhone 4 Case on the market! - Otterbox iPhone 4 Defender Series Case

Having owned every iPhone ever made I've learned over the years that they are quite delicate and the newer they are, the easier they are to break. My original iPhone (2g) which I paid $600 dollars for on release day was nearly bullet proof. From being dropped to thrown, and bent slightly in half on the edge of a coffee table, the thing never conked out on me or broke. Also at the time, Apple pretty much swapped your phone out for what ever reason you wanted which they are a lot tougher about now. A new screen will cost you just as much as for what you purchased the phone for with your new two year upgrade with AT&T.

Anyways, I've always purchased ebay cases (roughly 10 cases for $0.29 + shipping) and with that price who wouldn't. I first heard about the Otterbox, they day I purchased my iPhone 4 after over hearing another customer inquire about it. I went home, googled it and sure enough found it and placed my pre-order.

Upon receiving my product, it didn't really come with instructions and the video they had on their site was a little outdated so i figured to make my own tutorial/instruction set for the case for those who also had the same questions as I did.

Installation:

This is what you will see when you get your Otterbox:

Remove Silicone Casing:

Un-clip case fasteners:

Slide your iPhone 4 face down into the top half of the hard case:

Slide the back half of the case downward into the top half of the case:

Make sure that your case has all three fasteners secure:

Slide the hard shell into the bottom of the silicone liner:

Pull the remainder of the silicone liner around the hard shell securing and tucking it into the three fasteners:

Placing the phone into the clip:

Using the clip as a stand:

Secure the lock on the belt clip:

coming soon

Adjust the swivel like this for horizontal standing (play with this setting to adjust the incline of the stand).

coming soon

With the above picture setting your phone will stand like this:
coming soon

Known Issues:

Silicone case could be ever so slightly tighter. It tends to move around on the hard case and you'll usually need to tuck the case back into the fasteners every once in a while.

The belt clip is a little unpractical when trying to remove the phone from it while it is fastened to your side. I assume when wearing it on your side the clip tab would face up with the solid base facing down, however, I have found that it is much easier to remove the phone from the clip with the clip tab facing the floor by pressing your index finger into the clip tab and pulling the phone out and downward with the remainder of your fingers

Otherwise for the $50 the case is definitey! worth the money. You will notice immediatly the quality and careful construction of this case.
